The Little Sprig, originally titled as "Chelsie in Real Life," was born in the living room nook of my itty bitty beach bungalow in the heart of a beautiful, remarkable, and charming little town called Encinitas, California. What first began as my personal & intimate online journal to document my pregnancy journey and growing family, eventually became my forum to reach out & befriend people of all ages, locations, and interests! The Little Sprig became my platform to share ideas, crafts, feelings, and more than I could have ever imagined & now it has proudly given me the opportunity to give back to all who have entrusted their time, devotion, and kind words with me & for that I am forever grateful!
I am wife to one and mother to one. My two boys are my inspiration to make something of myself & I finally feel as though I have found my venue to do just that! Writing is my passion & purpose, crafting & decorating my expertise, cooking & baking my hobbies, traveling & exploring my enrichment, and living with presence my continual practice & joy. Aside from being a proud wife & mama, I am a yogi, artist, creator, seamstress, ethical lover of earth & all her fruits, book aficionado, expressionist & conversationist, nonconformist, and lover of all things beautiful and true.
